At PEFCU, we are proud of what each of our employees brings to our Credit Union. We are especially proud to showcase the employees who have contributed to our organization for years. When our employees love PEFCU enough to stay with us, it shows that we have a lot to offer.
One of those employees is Vicki Reeves, a Member Contact Center Agent.
Vicki began working at Publix Super Markets, Inc. out of high school. As her family grew, she preferred a career that would allow more of a work-life balance. This meant spending more quality time with her daughter; and her dog, which is her favorite animal. “Dogs love you unconditionally and are always happy to see you.”
Vicki went from working at the Southgate Publix as a back-door receiver to working in the PEFCU Member Contact Center. “I had opened an account with PEFCU in 1978, was pleased with the service, and I knew that it would be a wonderful place to work.” Now she can give the same stellar service to current Publix Super Markets, Inc. associates that had impressed her.
Being part of PEFCU means that Vicki is part of a team of champions who help each other achieve their goals. One of the Champions who has made a substantial impact on her during her career with PEFCU is Leila, Member Contact Manager. “She’s always supportive and willing to listen. She wants you to succeed and will help you in any way she can. She’s a great leader.”
When she started with PEFCU, the big new thing was the startup of Online Banking Services. As technology quickly changed, PEFCU continued to find ways to keep up with the latest technology to stay relevant to our members.
To Vicki, most of the changes she has seen are for the better. She feels good about the future. “I feel now more than ever that I am valued as an employee and that my opinion matters.”
